Opening Event

After three Months of working to transform this former ambassy of Congo into a combined living-working-and exhibition space, this is the first time we open the doors for public and present Villakabila and its artists: a mix of different experimental audiovisual performances, abstract paintings and some African sounds to close the evening. Participants:

- Jeroen Uyttendaele and Dewi de Vree, Ground. Audiovisual soundperformance using graphite drawings as a control interface for electronic sounds.

- Wen Chin Fu, Centrumsound. Playback of a multichannel soundscape.

-Lars Kynde and Wen Chin Fu, Technofile. Duet on chelli.

- Randlab (Rachida Ziani and Dewi de Vree), Elektrolab. Live soundperformance with self made instruments based on electrochemistry.

- Coen Schoonhoven, abstract illusional paintings
